Frank Alvarez teaches MC3 Construction Training. Seniors that have 150 credits and are 18 or older can participate. It consists of learning basic hand tools and power tools. Members receive their OSHA Card and CPR certification. While taking the program, the member is in the classroom for two weeks and out in the field working on construction sites for two weeks.
Community Feed Program
In this class, members learn about the nutritional value of healthy eating. Students learn to eat to live. They learn how to grow certain crops and different methods of growing those crops, such as the traditional way, aquaponics, and aeroponics.
In this program members learn how to open and start their own business. Members learn what it takes to start a business from the ground up and maintain so it can be successful.
Green Jobs Training
Green Jobs Training is for members that have at least 100 credits and are Juniors. The members learn how to install solar panels through Grid Alternatives. Upon completion of this training, they receive a NABCEP certification and a OSHA 30 certification.
Video and Media
In this class members learn how to use several types of camera and lighting equipment. Members take part in recording short films for the class.
This class allows members to learn about the recording, engineering, and producing of music.
